The Angelus watch company was founded in 1891 by two brothers Albert and Gustav Stolz in Le Locle Switzerland. Angelus would become one of the greatest manufacturers of fine horological complications in which their movements are still marveled to this day. 
Here at Tony’s Timepieces we are very proud to be offering one of the most significant Angelus watches, the 1950s Angelus Date Alarm. Angelus produced the Date Alarm around 1957-1958. The watch was offered in gold or stainless steel, and even had a pocket watch version. These watches are highly sought after today and are very scarce. The reason for their disability is their rare complication which gives the watch a built in Alarm clock and the date, hence the name, “Date Alarm”, 
This watch has recently been through a full restoration and service, cleaned, oiled, buffed, and more. This timepiece is in exceptional original condition. The dial is a fabulous aged white that has been virtually untouched. The case is great and is gold finished. The case has a few scratches and dings which are not very visible due to the polished case. On the case the serial number is clearly visible which makes the watch undoubtedly authentic. The watch is a star. The Angelus has been fitted with a new genuine leather band with a gold finished buckle to match the case. This watch overall is fantastic and would be an excellent addition to anyone's collection.
